Race used and polished piston from the famed Ford Cosworth DFV, 3ltr V8 engine. This particular example was used during the 1980 Dutch GP, at the hands of legendary triple world champion Alain Prost. He finished 6th in the race in the McLaren M30.
The piston originally was polished by Grand Prix Sportique, a former company based in Gloucestershire, England, who famously produced other examples.
